Haylie has a vast clinical background which includes working within an acute hospital setting, and working as an individual licensed clinician in private practice totalling 16 years as a professional social worker.  Haylie has always been curious about the mind (psychological/emotional) body connection.  Fortunately, working through three years of somatic experiencing training, consultations and personal therapy has been a remarkable journey of connection, revelation and evolving research, pointing to the clear connection of our physical health and our psychological well being.  It always makes sense.  You make sense.

Haylie will encourage the use of EMDR techniques to both stabilize the strengths of each individual, and to begin to 'unlearn' or shift our dysfunctional beliefs or behavior patterns causing distress and disconnection. The pace of this is always set by our nervous system's tolerance for change.  Meaning, this process is titrated and strategic.  We can only move as quickly as our slowest parts.  When there is patience, compassion and understanding in this, the healing and recovery is sustainable.

Outside of the office, Haylie enjoys spending time playing recreational volleyball with family and friends. She loves spending time with her family, whether cheering on a local sports team, playing card games, or listening. to music with one another.   Haylie is a pet lover and she also loves to be outside whenever she can.

  • Hi! I’m Jessica and my therapy superpower is helping people develop into the best version of themselves. I’ve spent years walking alongside people who are burnt out, overextended, or unsure of who they are beneath all the people pleasing. These issues can come from trauma, PTSD, burnout from work, anxiety, depression, or a number of other life experiences. I help clients release stuckness, grow self-esteem, and make confident decisions based on their own values.

In session, my approach blends therapy modalities including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ACT (Acceptance and Committment Therapy), and creativity. When we bring attention and compassion to the places we’ve learned to hide, clarity emerges. We find a deep well of healing and peace.

Outside of the therapy room, I love laughing with my family, trying new coffee shops, and crocheting. You can find me most weekends nerding over word puzzles.

I provide in person and telehealth therapy sessions to the Kansas region. I accept Medicaid, Ambetter, Aetna, and Self-Pay.

  • Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m an intern therapist and a current MSW student at the University of Denver, working toward becoming a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my bachelor’s in counseling from Oral Roberts University and   I have experience as both an intensive therapeutic foster parent and as a current foster parent in Kansas. I am trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

I’m passionate about supporting adolescents, adults, and families; especially those navigating foster care, adoption, infertility, life transitions, or challenging seasons. My own experiences—including walking through infertility and working closely with children in care—shape the empathy and understanding I bring into the therapy space. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs and strive to create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental environment.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband of seven years, our mini Schnauzer–Beagle mix, and our three chickens. I love reality game shows (SurvivorThe Traitors99 to Beat), puzzles, musicals, and family walks.
